Hematite bat necklace?
I went to a rock shop and got a hematite bat necklace pendant. I really love hematite, but I've gone threw two rings (one shattered and stabbed me and the other my boyfriend lost) and they say that when you break or lose a hematite piece of jewelry then it means that it was just too full of negative energy or someone else needed it.
Anyways, I would like to know what the symbolism if a bat pendant is. I checked in my books, and it just says bad stuff :/ like necromancy and controlling demons (which Id rather not get into).
Is there anything good about bat pendants?? Or hematite, for that matter?
Bats are psychopomps, they can escort you/your spirit to the Otherworlds. They are pretty cool to many neopagans.
However, hematite being the stone most folks use for grounding, it's kind of an odd mix, having a winged creature out of hematite.
I've not heard anything about 'if you lose/break hematite' it means anything at all.
